Songs of the month

Here’s my top five songs for this month.

1. House of Leaves- Salvia Plath.
Psychedelia can be found in an abundance in this, the first song from Baltimore-based musician, film maker and artist Michael Collins, AKA  Salvia Plath’s new album, The Bardo Story.

Trippy

2. Coast to Coast- Waxatachee.
Mentioned this little firecracker in the review a few days ago. Really cannot get enough of this album, or this song.

Rif

3.Ya Hey- Vampire Weeekend
Not much needs to be said about this really but the chorus sounds like Battles, which is always a good thing.

Hush Puppies

4. Brazil- Gold Panda
Reminds me of Flying Lotus and Lemonade. Surely got to be the soundtrack to the 2014 world cup, right?

Catchy

5. Bathroom Laughter-Pissed Jeans
This is raw, loud and fucking sweet and the video is top notch.
